I had the pleasure of attending the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit over at the de Young museum on Friday night. It was a thrilling, and well thought out trip through the past 35 years of Mr. Gaultier's life in design. A few highlighted moments included: striped sailor details {of course!}, the coned wonders of the Madonna years, and plenty of androgynous, sex exuding pieces. My favorite part of the whole thing was capturing all the tiny details with my Hipstamatic app. If you happen to be traveling through San Francisco in the next couple of months, I highly recommend you swing by; the exhibit runs through August 19th.
