Mouse Muse

After reviewing the fashion editorial of Chanel Iman that I used for my OPI post yesterday, I realized a few things... 1) Fashion Gone Rogue is one of the best fashion resources, and 2) Chanel must have had so much fun shooting this story for the December 2009 issue of Vogue Germany. Minnie Pedi

I was flipping through a random nail magazine last week {while getting a manicure}, when I found out that OPI is launching a Minnie Mouse collection in June. With names like "Nothin' Mousie 'bout It" and "I'm All Ears", it is sure to be hit. I love the sparkle heart shade- adorable!

Clear & Present

Something about transparent bags always brings me back to my days at Neiman Marcus, where as associates, we were only allowed to carry clear totes. Nonetheless, this has not swayed my fancy for them. This is good news because this season there are many great options- it's a clear choice.

Cruisin' Coachella

I am pretty bummed that I have yet to make it to Coachella {maybe next year?} I am not ashamed to admit that I tried to win tickets on the radio- no such luck! I want to thank Refinery 29 for their wonderful style coverage... feels like I was almost there.

A La Plage

The weather was so beautiful this weekend, that I was full-on sprung into beach mode. The only downside was that once I actually made it to the beach, I realized I forgot my towel {eerrr!}. Something tells me that if I had one of these, I would never leave it behind.

Mix & Match

I finally gave in and started watching Mad Men {I love it!}. An episode in the first season stood out- the Belle Jolie testing episode where all the women in the office were asked to test out lipsticks. One tester, said she liked to match her lipstick to her nail polish. I thought that was a funny statement because of how relevant that still is today. I took it one step further for this post, as I am forever a beach gal, and decided to pair this season's swim offerings with the hottest hues on the market. Happy Friday!

Feeling Lucky

I have slowly started gathering inspiration for what my outfit should be to Lucky's FABB event that is taking place April 30th in Los Angeles. I mean, it has to be no less than stellar, right? In this process, I {magically} keep coming back to the Malene Birger site. These are my favorites, and I would be so lucky to wear any one of them!

Lawn Ornaments

I cannot tell you how obsessed I am with these Marni chairs- not just obsessed, we're talking P'trique "ooobbbssseesssed!". They remind me a lot of the chairs at the W in Vieques. I just want to throw a bunch of them in my car, drive to Palm Springs, and sit on a lawn with plastic pink flamingos. Plus, they are made by ex-prisoners in Columbia in an attempt to help ease the burden of plunging back into the workforce.

Bag It Up

I have always considered myself an eco-friendly person, but living in SF has definitely made me kick things up a notch. It is quite refreshing how all things environmentally friendly are smiled upon here in the Bay Area. I never take a trip to the store without one of my canvas totes, which is why I was so happy when I stumbled upon Envirosax. I love their re-useable {and affordable} totes. The hardest part is picking out your favorite prints- they offer so many!

In Flight

Please bear with me... I am traveling back to California today, and I did not plan any posts in advance- boo! I will start back again first thing Wednesday, promise.

C'est Mon Anniversaire!

It has been a whirlwind couple of days. I flew back to New York on Thursday evening and spent some time in the city before heading out to Long Island for Easter... and my birthday- which happens to be today! Even though I am not happy about the age on the cake, I have come to terms with it and remind myself that age ain't nothing but a number!
