Spotlight: MSGM

I don't know about you, but when I start seeing the Spring collections roll out, I get incredibly excited. Maybe it's the fresh start Spring seems to bring, or maybe it's just because warm weathered clothes suit my personality more... or it could just be that I am sooo over Old Man Winter and looking forward to something bright. Whatever the reason, MSGM has got it going on for Spring. Punchy patterns are to the rescue in these lady like pieces...

Once Upon A Time

I try to switch my handbags as often as possible because I feel like I have so many and they all need to fulfill their bag destinies. However, switching bags is no easy task, and some things {unfortunately} can get left behind. But, when they are found again, it can feel like Christmas. Such a thing happened today when I changed bags and stumbled upon my All the Better To Kiss You With lip balm. I missed it, and am glad it is back in the rotation. It is also fitting since Once Upon Time is pretty much my new favorite show. These lip balms come in a cool slide tin, smell wonderful, and are certified organic. Ah, sounds like a happy ending to me!

For A Rainy Day

In the past few years I have managed to crack two pairs of rain boots. So a few months ago, as I kept hearing tales of the dreary rainy season here in SF {it has yet to arrive, by the way}, I decided it was time to prepare myself... I purchased a pair of cherry red Hunters. But now I am kind of bummed after seeing the great options from Joules. They have such great details- how about those bows?!

I am down with the low back trend that seems to be going on right now. I think it looks classically elegant, and sexy at the same time. When I see styles like this I just want it to be warm out already. I feel like I am so cold all the time, I can imagine bearing my whole back until Summer. How do you feel? About A Boy

I have pretty much pinned my style down. I can usually sum it up into two categories... one, being totally girly; lots of dresses, and high heels {that I never wear but are oh so pretty to look at}, and the second, being that of an eight year old boy- especially on the weekends. I was definitely a tomboy growing up, and I don't think I will ever outgrow that- which is why I am glad there are so many great man shoe inspired options available for women right now. Going Coastal

Hopefully everyone has a three weekend like moi- woohoo!! The weather has been super nice and sunny here in NorCal, and I have been a frequent visitor to the coastal 1 highway. I am pretty sure I will take another trip on the calming coast this weekend. Now if only I had a tricked out van like one of these... I am pretty sure I would park it in Santa Cruz and hang out for the weekend. Happy MLK day!
