Flatly

Paul Smith is werking it out for Spring in the shoe department. Can we just talk about how amazing all these options are? As a tall gal, I can never go wrong with a pair of flats, which is why I am so happy there are flats like these...

Go Your Own Way

One of my favorite quotes from Lewis Carroll is "If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there". Now, to find the roads all you need is to purchase a few map print clothing and accessory pieces. Who says you need GPS when your outfit can lead the way...

New York Fashion Week Roundup

I thought this was going to be the year... the year that I can actually stay current on viewing all the collections. Apparently not, because I have drastically slipped- there are so many shows to keep up with, I can only imagine how the editors must feel! I have no choice but to leave NY behind and move onto London. Here are a few of my favorite looks from the collections I actually had time to look at- the rest will simply have to wait.

{Row 1: Lela Rose, Tory Burch, Jill Stuart, Christina Cota}
{Row 2: Altuzarra, Billy Reid, BCBG Max Azria, L.A.M.B}
{Row 3: Tory Burch, Rachel Zoe, Peter Som, BCBG Max Azria}
{Row 4: Altuzarra, Steven Alan, Lacoste, DVF}
{Row 5: Christian Siriano, Doori, Christian Siriano}
{Row 6: Derek Lam, DKNY, Jill Stuart, Chadwick Bell}
{Row 7: Jason Wu, Rachel Zoe, DVF, Lela Rose}

So Clutch

Clutches are having a major moment. Designers have taken their aesthetic up a notch to stand out, and the message is coming across loud and clear. Here are a few clutch options that are sure to spark a conversation or two...

Fashion Review: Sophie Theallet

Sophie Theallet has a knack for dresses- which suits me just fine because I do as well. Her collection for Fall 2012 was full of bright colors, and wallpaper-like prints that I am already imagining being requested {as I write this} for editorial shoots.

Fashion Review: Wes Gordon

For a newcomer, Wes Gordon is rocking my world. In his Fall 2012 collection, the colors aren't as cohesive as I would have liked, but the outfits are phenomenal, so who really cares. Here are four looks that I would rock any day.

Spruce Is The Word

Holy moley ladies, I hope you like green- spruce to be exact, because is it showing up in nearly EVERY collection. A moment with this deep, luxurious hue...

{collection from left to right: Tory Burch, Catherine Malandrino, Yigal Azrouel, Wes Gordon, Tibi, Rebecca Taylor, Tibi Yigal Azrouel, Charlotte Ronson, Oscar de la Renta, Sachin & Babi, Sophie Theallet, Peter Som, Doori, Rebecca Minkoff}

Lacquered

Butter London has rolled out the carpet on their Spring/Summer 2012 collection- which continues to be 3-free. I was lucky enough to receive a bottle of Bossy Boots {which is a mint/pistachio-like green}, and it is the perfect shade for Spring's trending pastels. Here are a few other great shades from the collection.

P.S.- that pink sparkly shade is called Disco Biscuit. Is that not the best name?

Fashion Review: Mara Hoffman

For her Fall Winter 2012 collection, Mara Hoffman stayed true to her signature bright fabrics and prints, and it worked more than well. The dresses wear easy and are seasonless. Here are my favorites looks...

Fashion Review: Rag & Bone

I don't know what to say, except Rag & Bone is out of control. I loved their Fall 2012 collection so much. Strategic layering, and cozy looking fabrics have this collection reigning supreme in my book. I want it all- seriously.

Fashion Review: 10 Crosby Derek Lam

When I first heard Derek Lam had a new line called 10 Crosby, it piqued my interest because Crosby Street just happens to be my favorite street in all of New York- between Spring & Prince to be specific. The collection is young, fun, and full of whimsy. Here are my favorites...

Fashion Review: Rebecca Taylor

NYFW is underway, and I can't think of a better way to spend my weekend than stalking Style.com for updates on shows. I am going to be rolling out the highlights on my favs throughout the week so make sure you keep checking back for updates.

First up, Rebecca Taylor- always a must have for pretty flowy pieces, and floral prints. Once again, she came through with a must-have collection for fall. Dark tones, and heavy layering done right make this collection a complete win.

Tent Life

When I get down and out about living the corporate life, I daydream of a life less structured... I am pretty sure I would be perfectly content to pitch a tent or a teepee somewhere and do some inside/outside living. Don't these pictures just look so cozy?
