Going Coastal

Hopefully everyone has a three weekend like moi- woohoo!! The weather has been super nice and sunny here in NorCal, and I have been a frequent visitor to the coastal 1 highway. I am pretty sure I will take another trip on the calming coast this weekend. Now if only I had a tricked out van like one of these... I am pretty sure I would park it in Santa Cruz and hang out for the weekend. Happy MLK day!

From Cali, With Love

Yesterday, I woke up to the most beautiful day. The sun was shining strong, and by 8am you could tell it was going to be the best day. So... I did what any ocean-minded person would do- I went to the beach. I drove down PCH until I found a spot that fit my bill, Montara it was! Pretty appropriate for a gal named Tara, if I do say so myself!

The Bay

Well things clearly don't always work out the way you think they will. I have been in San Francisco for a few days now, and my life seems to have a huge feeling of unsettlement- which in turn, has caused some definite anxiety...

I had a more than decent lead on a job that sadly fell through the first day I arrived. At this point, I am not sure where to live because I do not know where I will be able to find work. Quite the catch 22. In the meantime, I have been taking a bunch of yoga and meditation classes, as well as journeying on day trips (in between applying for jobs) all over California. I spent a day in Marin- which is a beautiful, short trip from SF. Yesterday, I went down to the Santa Cruz area (love), and I headed east over the bay bridge on Wednesday. I just keep telling myself if it is meant to be something will come about. Here are a few snaps from my travels...
