Zimmermann Kids

I love these floral pieces from Zimmermann's childrens collection...

A State Affair

I think these state cutting boards from AHeirloom on Etsy are awesome! Pay homage to your home turf, where you left your heart, or even just a state you always felt a connection to... you can also add a star or heart to mark your town- think housewarming gift!

Pillow Talk

I was first introduced to Coral & Tusk at the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn last summer. The intricate embroidery {on most of their pieces} is awe inspiring. Here are a few of my favorite nautical-themed pillows... they would be perfect just about anywhere!

Bill Cunningham New York

Last night, I finally made it over to Film Forum to catch the Bill Cunningham New York documentary. It was moving and inspirational to say the least. Mr. Cunningham is a true artist who lives life his way, and takes more than just beautiful photos along the way. The Film Forum has extended its stay until April 7th, and then it moves on to California. Click here to see all film stops.

Fashion File: Hoss Intropia

Why oh why must Hoss Intropia make such amazingly fabulous things?? The details, the fabrics- I am pining for the entire Summer collection!

Map It

I just made myself a promise to write more handwritten cards, and then I came across these fun, city-themed beauties from Maptote. Places you want to visit, places you are writing from? Either way, anyone would be so lucky to receive a mapnote.

Cookie Time

Happy Friday! I totally want a flower cookie from Miette to sweeten up the afternoon. Ahh, if only I were in San Francisco!

Fashion File: Carven

Having a blog about inspiring things in the fashion world can be pretty darn overwhelming at times. I feel it is like the movie Inception at times... I find a link on a blog that takes me a layer deeper to some designers website, where I find a link that takes me another layer deeper to some other random site... and so goes my day! The good news is the inspiration is endless!!

Such a random Inception layer-like dream brought me to Carven's Summer 2011 collection- which is chock full of delightfully tailored pieces.

Gap has done a great job with their selection of shorts this Spring. Here are few few standout choices...

Fashion Memory

I love matching pictures I have snapped up with fashionable items- I call it my Fashion Memory game. I took this grass shot while visiting my Mom in Florida. Then when I saw this Michael Kors astro-turf bikini, I knew they were MFEO (made for each other)!

For Japan With Love

I will not be putting a post up tomorrow, March 18th in observance of the Bloggers Day of Silence. This event, put together by Utterly Engaged and Ever Ours, is to bring attention to the events currently happening in Japan.

This past week has been a tough one for Japan. The earthquake and tsunami effects are truly devastating. Please send your thoughts and prayers, and if you have the means, please donate to the relief effort.

Green With Envy

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Here are a few of my favorite green things...

Rock Out

I have been following RockaBella Jewels for about 2 years now... when I came across the coordinates band necklace, I was hooked! I ordered up two immediately- one for myself, and one for my sister, both with Oahu's coordinates. It is my favorite necklace, and I always get a ton of compliments!! They have added some great new pieces so make sure you check them out!!!

Fashion Memory

I am down in Florida visiting my Momma until Wednesday, and taking in some sunshine! Yesterday, we went on a lighthouse walk where I snapped this shot of the spiral staircase within. Last night after reviewing my shots, I couldn't help but notice the uncanny resemblance of the staircase to the House of Harlow Nita Platform.

iPad Style

Unfortunately, I don't own an iPad {yet}. But if I did, these are a few of the case options I would be sporting. The cases are almost reason enough to run out and scoop one up!

Fortune & Fame

A few weeks ago, I was at a birthday party where they had fortune cookies scattered amongst the tables in the restaurant. My fortune read: "Look out boyzz, your socks are going to be knocked off... I only wearing a shirt"- it is now pinned up on my wall. I couldn't help but think back to my fortune when I saw these fortune cookie snap purses. Each cookie is numbered and unique in its own way. The number can be traced back to where the leather originated.

Super Duper

The new Super collection by Dr. Nicholas Perricone is pretty... well, super! I love the mono-colored packaging and simplicity of the bottles. Plus, the products are paraben, dye, sulfate, and fragrance free!

Spotlight: Coclico Shoes

One of the great things about living in NYC is having pretty much anything in walking distance, and available at your finger tips. I came across Coclico online a few weeks ago, and quickly discovered they have a SoHo shop- score! Their shoes have a really great, handmade quality feel. Here are a few of my favorite styles...

Friends Forever

These friendship bracelets are handwoven by local artisans in Cambodia, which in turn helps the country to create a sustainable market. Loves!

Word Play

It usually doesn't hit me until I am sitting on a plane, train, or long car trip that I realize how handy word search puzzles can be! So this past weekend when I stumbled across these beautifully decorated word play notebooks, I snatched one up immediately. I now have it in my bag so that if I get stuck anywhere, I will be prepared.

Old Man Winter

Yes, it's nice to look at all the lovely spring florals and light fabrics, but let's be real for a moment... Old Man Winter is not finished with his winter games quite yet! So in honor of Old Man Winter, here are a few coat options that I wouldn't mind sporting until it goes out like a lamb...

Making Movies

If there were a movie to be made about my life, I would insist Lauren Moffatt do the wardrobe. Her Spring 2011 collection is stellar! I seriously am in awe of those stripes and want everything to do with them!
