Fashion Review: Peter Som

I have slowly been delving into the process of reviewing all the fashion shows from the Spring Summer 2014 collections that took place in NY the past couple of weeks- it is no easy feat! I start with my favorite designers, and that's why Peter Som is up first. Peter grew up in San Francisco, so for some reason I feel like we are kindred spirits.For his Spring Summer 2014 collection, he showed relaxed styles with fun, beach-chic worthy prints. Just my style.

Every time I see a J.Mendel collection I experience that overwhelming feeling of awe and inspiration. Why are his dresses like the best thing in the whole entire world? I vow to own one {or five} sometime in the near future. Season after season, it's nothing but pure bliss...

NYFW: Marc by Marc Jacobs

I have noticed that it is usually one end of the spectrum or the other with Marc's collections- I either love LOVE them or I dislike them- A LOT. The good news for Spring 2013 is that I love LOVE Marc by Marc Jacobs. He stayed true to the youthful, punchy geometric prints that he does so well. The whole collection was full of candy-colored prints and flirty dresses that you want to wear every single day. I especially love the hair wraps- nice touch!
