Since I live in a climate that is perpetual Fall, I rely heavily on cozy throws to keep the chill at bay. I am lucky enough to have amassed an amazing collection of cozy cashmere throws during my time in New York. Though I have quite a few already, I am the queen of options and am always looking for a new addition- you know, for my {one day} house. Here are a few I found that I have my eye on...

East Village Styles
I never know which Sunday edition of The New York Times will feature my beloved T Magazine. This leads me to the Noe Valley newpaper store to check- every Sunday. I think the guy thinks I am crazy, but even if he does, he clearly doesn't know how great T Magazine is- and worth the whopping $6 Sunday price tag!
Well, T Magazine was smart enough to grace up with its presence this past Sunday. I was loving the story that featured John Derian's East Village abode. Not only because his renovations are simplistically perfect, but also because that was my old hood in New York, and I used to swing by his 2nd & 2nd Street shops frequently. Check out the wonderful decorating job he has done...

Spotlight: Olive Yew
Most of the time Etsy can feel extremely overwhelming to me- I never know where to look! Scrolling through way too many homemade googly-eyed projects has {more often than not} been a turn off for me. That said, when I can find a diamond in the rough it is well worth the effort. This time, said diamond in the rough turns out to be Olive Yew, an adorable jewelry line from Angela Parker- Kennedy out of North Carolina. Her beautifully simplistic pieces come with an even more amazing price tag. I now have a running list of items I want that include a few of these featured below...

Picture Pages
My fascination with Italy-specifically Italian style, only grows stronger when I see images like the ones from Tod's new book, Italian Portraits. I can't imagine a place where style knows no dimensions, and is utterly inspiring to its core. Italian Portraits is available starting today on Amazon.

Pretty Ricci
I am really happy with what Peter Copping has been doing with Nina Ricci since his rein over the brand took hold three years ago. For the Spring Summer 2013 collection, there were tons of shiny, lady-like pieces that are kind of adorable. Black, blush, and pops of color, like the fiery red shown below, made up the majority of the color palette for the show. Here were a few of my favorites...

Spotlight: Olsenboye
Olsenboye, the hip, upbeat line from the Olsen sisters is sold exclusively at J.C. Penney and is so cute! I just came across these floral bags and classic printed scarves that look like they could retail for way more than their $16 price tag. Can MK and Ashley do no wrong?
