I remember being in middle school and first noticing the rubber ring adorned, pastel coated bottles of Hard Candy nail polish. They were every girls dream, but sadly, out of my price range. Well now I can happily say that Hard Candy is sold exclusively through Walmart, and the prices are amazing! These eyeshadow duos are just $6, and nail polishes just $4- ring still included. Hard sell? Hardly!

I am pretty picky with my jewelry... I like things dainty, and small- not overwhelming in any way. And I love, LOVE bracelets with ribbons, and threads combined with metal, and gemstone detailing. Tha Namesake Part II

Some of you may remember my I.D. bracelet post {here} from back in January. I really loved it, but the leather grew and grew to a point where it was unwearable. Last weekend, I transferred the name tag piece over to a more stable option, and now I am loving it all over again! {thanks Jackie!} It is so great to live in a city where supplies for just about any project are just a subway stop or two away.

Book Club

Good things come in small packages, right? The old adage reigns true thanks to Tiny Stories. The leather bound books filled with sweet, short stories are so cute that pretty much anyone would want to read them before going to bed. My favorite is... "deeply in love, but fearing the disapproval of their peers, the antelope and the ant... eloped."

Les Dents

I just got back from a two hour stint at the dentist... and if there was one bit of wisdom I could offer my younger self, it would be to start flossing as obsessively as I do now. It might have saved me oh I don't know, say a few thousand dollars. Here are a couple fun, tooth-themed products that will definitely make the mouth happy.

Weekend Mantra

Aren't short weeks the best? I feel people would be so much happier and productive with a 4 day work week, don't you agree? Anyway, I am taking this weekend to tackle some creative projects that I have been delaying the past couple of months... do you have any fun plans?

Flat Out

Finding the perfect pair of flats is a lot more difficult than you would think- or maybe it's just my perfection striving criteria that has me steering clear of many styles on the market. I will not purchase them if they are too stiff because that means blisters, and they need to have just the right curve and toe coverage to make them look proportional. This is why when I came across the handmade Ele flats on Etsy, I could immediately tell they were stellar. Don't they look unbelievably buttery soft??

Wearable Wednesday: Dresses

Weather permitting, I would wear a dress just about everyday. I have a carefully edited selection in my closet that just doesn't seem to get as much play as I would like- I blame it on lack of fancy affairs, and the office air conditioning which allows me to {comfortably} wear sweaters year round, hmmpf! None of this stops from adding to my collection, especially when I can't stop finding amazing gems like these...
