I was lucky enough to receive a bottle of Bossy Boots {which is a mint/pistachio-like green}, and it is the perfect shade for Spring's trending pastels. I try to switch my handbags as often as possible because I feel like I have so many and they all need to fulfill their bag destinies. However, switching bags is no easy task, and some things {unfortunately} can get left behind. But, when they are found again, it can feel like Christmas. Such a thing happened today when I changed bags and stumbled upon my All the Better To Kiss You With lip balm. I missed it, and am glad it is back in the rotation. It is also fitting since Once Upon Time is pretty much my new favorite show. These lip balms come in a cool slide tin, smell wonderful, and are certified organic. Ah, sounds like a happy ending to me!

So, did you make any resolutions? I made a few that I am going to try my hardest to keep. I have many, but my most important ones are: to be on time, and to keep in touch with friends and family better {I am known to leave my phone behind pretty often}.

This whole post is based around these DSquared2 ice skate boots. When I first saw them, I could not believe how unreal they were... and at roughly $1,800, they have been selling out all over the place. I really need to see someone wearing these stat!

Then there's the other feeling I got while putting this post together, and that's the whole Serendipity NYC Central Park ice skating feel. It brings back images of snow falling in New York, and that magical feeling that anything is possible. I miss NYC a bit...

It is a very funny process how I come to think of the daily posts on The Inspiration Files. Like right now, I am freezing... which led to me wanting to be somewhere warm- lying in the sun at the beach. Then I immediately thought of how I have seen the most adorable Missoni swimsuits lately, and how I have always wanted a luxurious Missoni towel, and voila! Missoni in the Sun was born. Now I just have to work on getting a sunny beach day.

I am forever on the hunt for a great pair of jeans. It doesn't matter how many pairs I already own because I can always find a new fit, distress, fade, or pocket detailing to make them completely different- and there is nothing like a pair of jeans that fit right and make you feel good. I stopped biting my nails about five years ago, and although it is sometimes a struggle to not do it, the payoff is BIG- manicures, and being able to buy cool nail polishes. Which is why I love Megan Miller for her "put a cork it it" nail polish bottles. They are 3-free, so you don't have to worry about all the nasty chemicals that often go along with nail polishes.

I made a mental note about a week ago to pick up a new tube of mascara because mine is running out. Then as randomness would have it, I read about Maybelline's Great Lash collaboration with Vivienne Tam, Tracy Reese, and BCBG. How did this awesome collab sneak by me? I just can't seem up- there are just way too many to keep tabs on! Well, now I want one because 1) I used to to work at Vivienne Tam and 2) because they are just so cool.
